On a Tuesday, Jazzy, Kamani, Kimberly, and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings, and then to Vampire Penguin.
Buffalo Wild Wings
At our table at Buffalo Wild Wings, I ordered the snack size combo, which came with wings, fries, and a vegetable boat. I decided that my wings would be half Lemon Pepper and half Barbecue, with some fries; and I also decided to get my vegetable boat with carrots and celery. It tasted like heaven in a bowl.
Jazzy ordered a sampler, with fries, wings, nachos, and mozzarella sticks. She says it was “amaze-balls.”
Kimberly ordered a snack size combo. It came with fries, a vegetable boat, and wings. They were mild wings. She was so full that she could not eat not one more wing.
And Kamani, a vegetarian, ordered potato wedges.
It was a full house that night. It took about an hour to get our food — well, certain food.
Our waitress forgot the simplest things. She forgot a vegetable boat, and a set of fries. We asked her a couple of times to bring them. While we waited, we watched TV. Anywhere we looked there was a TV. We could watch baseball, basketball, or football, depending on the season.
By the time we were done with the rest of our food, we still hadn’t had gotten the rest of our order. We asked for the check. We didn’t to wait another hour. We got the check and paid.
We got out of Buffalo Wild Wings, and the sun was setting. We walked about twenty steps to Vampire Penguin. Vampire Penguin is cute little place. Once we walked in, we saw nice bright colors, and everyone with smiles on their faces. We looked around and saw the menu. I ordered the “Tuxedo.” It has chocolate shaved snow with sliced almonds, marshmallows, strawberries, chocolate sauce, and condensed milk. II tasted like heaven melting. Everyone got a different plate and tried different flavors, from sweet chocolate to tangy fruit.
The service there was great. We did not have to wait long; and while we were waiting, the song “Irreplaceable” by Beyonce played. We all sang along. I recommend trying this place. The waiters were nice and friendly. They made sure that we liked everything, and asked if we were doing fine.
